This is a poem I wrote to my father when I was 20 years old. My mom found it in his jewelry box after he died, he had saved it all those years. He passed away in 1990 but it still seems like yesterday. I scanned it in its original form, the paper was a creamy color with a decorating that included a leafy shrub and a little mouse looking up into it.
Just a note to say that this poem to your father touched my heart. These are the treasures we hold near and as my great-grandmother said to me and these words I have my stories and poems copyright under, "Always Remember". You certainly do remember, thank you for sharing this bit of personal wonder with your viewers.
I created this blog to have someplace to publish my short stories and poetry.
Some of the stories, if not a big part of them, will be off the wall ideas that I got from a website that I found. The site has suggestions for writing stories, poems, etc. Some of them could prove very interesting so I am going to write based on them, once in a while.
I have a lot of my original writing that I did in college and will also put that here.
I wanted to keep my other blog The Opinionated Cat for my jewelry, so this one will be everything else.
